LDL Cholesterol Calculator Pro

Pocket cholesterol calculator is a mobile app designed to calculate the low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol with the Friedewald formula. It needs the level of other cholesterols, namely the total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, and triglycerides. In this LDL cholesterol level app, you can use either mg/dL or mmol/L as the unit of the cholesterol. Based on the LDL cholesterol calculation result, the app will also determine the level of the LDL based on the ATP III guidelines.

LDL (low-density lipoprotein), sometimes called “bad” cholesterol, makes up most of your body’s cholesterol. High levels of LDL cholesterol raise your risk for heart disease and stroke. HDL (high-density lipoprotein), or “good” cholesterol, absorbs cholesterol and carries it back to the liver. The liver then flushes it from the body.
