Leadership Sacramento

The Leadership Sacramento Mobile App connects participants and alumni to the current collaborative efforts of the Metro Chamber training program.

Founded in 1985, Leadership Sacramento develops community-minded business and civic leaders through a year-long interactive program that provides a behind-the-scenes understanding of the issues that impact the region’s economic prosperity and quality of life. The program is limited to 35 participants each year, and culminates in the completion of a community betterment project.

Leadership Sacramento is designed to accomplish four goals:
1. Expose participants to the processes, programs opportunities and challenges that impact our region;
2. Stimulate interest in community activities and encourage engagement in local and regional affairs;
3. Create a network of community-minded leaders who will lead in a spirit of collaboration that fosters regional prosperity;
4. Provide participants with behind-the-scenes view of regional issues and give them access to the region’s top business, civic and community leaders who play integral roles in shaping the Sacramento region.
