Library. Shlokas allows you to access Vedic verses from texts such as the Bhagavad-Gita, Shrimad-Bhagavatam, Chaitanya Charitamrita, Upanishads, and more. You can search by text, chapter, or topic, making it easy to locate the verses you want to learn. The verses are presented in both the original Sanskrit and a translation in a modern language, making it accessible to all. You can also save your favorite verses to an inbox for quick and easy access later. This feature allows you to keep track of the verses you are currently studying.

Smart. Shlokas is designed to optimize the learning experience by using spaced repetition algorithm – a scientifically-proven method of memorization that involves reviewing material at increasingly longer intervals. Shlokas adjusts the intervals between reviews of a specific verse based on your performance. If you struggle to remember a verse, Shlokas will present it more frequently. On the other hand, if you can easily recall a verse, the app will present it less frequently.

Inbox. The inbox deck works as a virtual to-do list for verses. You can add a verse to the inbox deck when you come across a verse you want to learn. The verse will then be saved in the inbox deck for easy access so you can review and memorize it at your convenience.

Review. The review deck is a collection of verses that you have previously studied and memorized. The app uses a spaced repetition algorithm to schedule the review of these verses at optimal intervals based on your performance. As you continue to review the verses, the intervals between reviews will gradually increase, helping to reinforce the material in your mind and make it remembered in the long term.
