The Legacee Kares App was created for informational purposes to target youth based services and to empower underprivileged and/or homeless youth in NYC. The app is intended to be used as a tool to navigate services and resources with the simple click of a button. Legacee Kares gives a voice to those who may feel voiceless in a time of need.

Resources provided in conjunction with, but not limited to Department of Youth and Community Development, Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, AIDS Institute Youth Advisory Agency, and the LGBTQ Community programs for youth 16-24 years of age.

Helpful Features for Youth in Need:
-GPS Location-based feature. Under "Resources," you will find Legal Services and Anti Violence/Harassment Services. Under "Health," you will find General Health/Wellness, and HIV/AIDS related services. Under "Services," you will find Community Centers, General Identity Services, Youth and Teen Services.
*Allow Push Notifications for this feature to be active.
- Other Resources: Drop-in Centers, Food Banks and Soup Kitchens, Free Clothing, Thrive Mental Health Roadmap, Helplines, and PrEP Awareness.
- “Rate Your Service” allows users to submit information regarding their experience with Providers.
-Comments can be shared on each provider’s listing within the app. This creates an open forum from user to user to share their experiences and provide general feedback.
