Legal Age Mobile comprises the most advanced and up to date verification scanning system available today. Many age verification services only provide a simplistic age verification feature on their terminals which is, in effect, an electronic calculator. The feature simply calculates the age from the base format of the magnetic strip or barcode and displays the age or simply asks the clerk to enter a birthdate. Most systems do not actually read, verify, and validate the information on the ID or driver’s license as does Legal Age Mobile.
Each time a transaction is initiated by the swipe of an ID or driver’s license, the terminal sends the information request to the Legal Age server for validation against a real time database managing updated information profiles.
Legal Age continually monitors for any changes or modifications of an identification document. One of the features of Legal Age Mobile is that if an ID is unreadable or is not valid, the app immediately notifies the clerk and the information is instantaneously sent to a “catch” server within the Legal Age network. This information is reviewed and any changes to existing profiles are made to guarantee that updated information is then available to our users.
