LifeFlare's mission is to decrease the number of unnecessary deaths, that happen between the time a 9-1-1 call is made and the arrival of an ambulance, which takes at least 10 to 15 minutes in the US and more than an hour in some other countries.

you should sign up as a "rescuer" if you're medically trained (physician, nurse, paramedic...etc) or CPR trained. all others should sign up as a user

How LifeFlare works:

If you spot a medical emergency, that needs immediate help, immediately after calling 9-1-1, simply, press the Flare button on the LifeFlare app. Any signed up "rescuer" within 400 meters of your location will receive a notification of your help request and your exact location.

Once a rescuer has accepted your help request you'll be able to track their location and exactly how far they are from you.

your Flare lasts 30 minutes and you can cancel it at any time.
