App Store Description
LifeSpot is a safety and security app designed to increase the odds of survival and reduce emergency response times during an active shooter or active threat event.
At the initiation of an alert, all participating users — including emergency responders — are immediately notified of the threat via push notification. Through mapping, users are able to view their current position relative to the approximate location of the threat, which can inform their decision to either "flee" or "fortify."
Users can also choose to mark a serious injury, and this information is relayed to emergency responders to expedite medical attention. In addition, users and emergency responders are able to establish real-time communication via LifeSpot's chatting functionality.
Once an emergency responder receives the alert, they can choose to respond to the event with the simple tap of a button. This decision to respond is then sent to all other users, along with the responder's ETA.
Simple, effective, lifesaving!
