App Store Description

Mawutodzi Kodzo Abissath grew up as a young boy in Ghana and Togo. Ghana being his motherland and Togo his fatherland, he has been influenced both with the English and French language and culture of these two West African countries.

As a young boy he loved expressing his feelings in words by writing poems. His love for words will bring him great success and wisdom, taking him from the villages of Ghana and Togo outside Africa into other countries in the world and landing him in the Netherlands to complete his academic studies with a Master of Arts in Agrarian and Environmental Studies.

It is in the Netherlands that the pronunciation of his name made his fellow students stumble over his long name, that his nickname Mawu – which has a profound meaning – was adopted. He was inspired in the Netherlands to write his life story from his humble upbringing to rising like a phoenix in the world among scholars.
