LittleCal 4 Mobile

LittleCal 4 Mobile is an iOS conversion of an existing desktop application for macOS. It lets you manage your schedules on the weekly calendar. When you schedule an event and then the event time nears, LittleCal will post a local notification ahead of the actual event time with or without a sound whether or not the device is locked.  It's not necessary that the app be currently running in order to receive notification alerts. You can tap the notification alert tab to extend the notification reminder by 5 minutes, 10 minutes, ..., 30 minutes, ... Or just ignore it.

Suppose that you have an important conference call to attend at 3 PM. Using LittleCal 4 Mobile, you can remind yourself of it with a local notification ahead of the actual event time like 2 PM. When you receive a notification alert, tap it to extend the notification reminder, say, by another 30 minutes. At 2:30 PM, you will receive another notification alert for the same event. Again, you have options of extending or not extending the notification reminder. Moreover, if you receive an event notification for a different event while working to extend the first notification reminder, LittleCal 4 Mobile will automatically put the second notification in a queue such that the app will raise a reminder sheet after you finish the first one.

2. Set a level of importance in color on the event name in the weekly list of events.
3. Tap a calendar day button to create a single-day event under the selected day.
4. Create a weekly event on selected days of the week.
5. Create a monthly event on the same calendar day of the month.
6. Create an annual event (birthday, wedding anniversary…) on the same calendar day every year.
7. Create a quick event that is to take place minutes from now.
8. Create a routine event that is to take place every day at the same time.
9. Tap ? toolbar button to get full access to a 13-page user’s guide.
10.Receive an event notification ahead of time, whether or not the device is locked or the app itself is running.
11.Tap the notification alert tab to extend the notification reminder.
12.Search for events with a keyword or a range of dates.
13.Delete all past events.
14.The app supports the light and dark appearance mode.
15.Languages: English only.

- Limitations -

1. As free trial basis, LittleCal 4 Mobile lets the user create as many as five events without a subscription plan. The user can upgrade their use base to ‘Unlimited’ such that they can create an unlimited number of events until their subscription expires.
2. In order to receive the local notification on a locked device or while the app is currently running, the user must sets up notification settings with Settings (.app).
3. This app does not share data with the macOS version.
4. This app is designed such that the first day of the week is Sunday. There is no guarantee that it will run as intended when the user selects any day other than Sunday in Language & Region.
