What is it about?

This application offers an easy and accurate formula for determining the axial pile loads of a rectangular shaped pile-raft foundation. Using this formula, one can calculate the pile axial loads at 25 symmetrical locations. The formula is also capable of calculating the percentage of loads carried by piles and the raft-soil contact. The formula was derived from the regression analyses of finite element modelling results. Further information can be reached at Hamderi, 2019. The formula requires 17 input parameters. The description and the input procedure of these parameters are stepwise given in the application.
