An electrofusion welding traceability report is no exception and it’s only complete if it can confirm: Who, What, When, Where, Why and How a joint was done.
The LOCATE system has been designed to give you a full tracking and traceability system.
҉ a web-based traceability system
҉ server connected asset management
҉ remote-control operation by the user
WHO
The operator logs into the app, giving them ownership.
WHAT
The joint information is read from the welding and traceability barcodes on the fitting.
WHEN
The date and time of the weld are recorded.
WHERE
A GPS location is taken of where the weld takes place.
WHY
Additional information such as job reference can be entered and recorded.
HOW
Photographs of the installation can be taken to show how the joint was prepared.
A full log of the weld parameters is recorded along with a weld energy graph that can be used to check for faulty joints.
Server connected asset management allows a supervisor to check the calibration status of the equipment and view error logs remotely without having to recall it back to the workshop.
The data can be viewed on the Locate website or transferred onto the client’s own servers.
