Locate My Bus

Locate My Bus Child and Parent App, makes School Bus journeys Safe, Secure and Track able in real time.

Locate My Bus has a different login for Parents and Children. Now you both know where the School Bus is at all times. You and your Child will get an alert to the estimated arrival time of the Bus at your selected Bus stop. You can both now see when the School Bus reaches School, when it departs the School and when your Child has been dropped off at their Bus stop.
Currently, Locate My Bus is only available to a small number of Council/Schools but we are working hard to offer it to as many Districts as possible! Dedicated Customer Support
• Contact Locate My Bus Monday – Friday by:
- Calling the local phone number 0845 XXX XXXX from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.GMT;
- Emailing Customer Support at support@locatemybus.co.uk; or
- Using the in-app “help” button to provide feedback.

Live Tracking
• The Locate My Bus map screen shows you the live location and direction of your Child’s bus, your Child’s stop schedule for the current day and timestamps for school arrivals and departures.

Predictive Stop Arrival Times
• Analysing route and real-time GPS data, we determine an estimated time of arrival to your stop provided on the Locate My Bus map.
Safety & Security
• Know when your child has got on/off the bus. Your Child can send an SOS to you or the School if they feel unsafe at any time.

Custom Alerts and Messages
• Set up push or email notifications alerting you when your Child's bus is a chosen distance or number of minutes away from your stop.
• Receive push messages about why your Child’s bus is late and an estimation of how long it will be delayed.

School/Council Portal
• All Buses can be tracked with Locate My Bus Council/School portal. Every route and stop appears on the map, simultaneously. A list of delayed buses appears below – so School’s and Council’s are aware in real time of any issues. Nonattendance can be tracked by Route or School.

Additional User Notifications
• Add as many Children as you like by Adding Children in the Parent App. Purchase a Subscription for each Child who is eligible. In the Locate My Bus app you can see the status of all your Childrens’ buses in one place, in real time.

Non Attendance Alerts
• You can use the Locate My Bus App to alert the Council/School, in case your Child is not coming in due to illness or has an appointment and will be dropped off later.

Secure and Easy Access
• Locate My Bus requires a password-protected account along with your Child’s ID for app set-up. This way, only you can view your student’s stop.
• Register and log-in from your smartphone, tablet or desktop.
