Loop Med

Loop is a mobile patient tracking and supporter engagement service. Loop connects healthcare providers with patients and their loved ones, allowing a patient-selected support network to easily receive status updates on the day of surgery.

Updates are delivered per user preference via an in-app newsfeed, emails, text messages, and/or push notifications. Registered supporters can group message with other supporters and the patient. Pre-operative and discharge guidelines are viewable in the app.

In order to register and use Loop, patients must be first invited by their healthcare providers and complete a quick verification process. Afterwards patients may invite any number of supporters that they choose and enact notification settings per supporter. If patients delete a past procedure or account, their registered supporters will no longer be able to view that information.

Loop (Loop Med, Inc.) is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and was founded by a diverse group of medical professionals in 2015 to work with healthcare systems, hospitals, and surgery centers to empower patients and their loved ones while making providers’ jobs easier.
