What is it about?

LSUHSC Well mHealth App is being used by the Comprehensive Alcohol HIV/AIDS Research Center (CARC) at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans to aid in reducing alcohol use and improving healthy behavior. The WELL Program is an evidence-based intervention consisting of five sessions designed to increase active healthcare participation, reduce the harm of alcohol and drug use, reduce harm by using latex, improve negotiating skills to reduce harm with partners, and improve health lifestyle choices. This App was created as part of a research study funded by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA โ€“ U01 AA021995-03). LSUHSC IRB# 8075.
