LURU is a going-out app that helps you bring your group outing plans to life!

LURU lets you invite friends from your phone contacts and chat with them to plan and execute a hangout by choosing any spot from the map at a great restaurant, arranging transport, and splitting bills fairly and easily - all in one place. The app’s group chat feature also acts as a folder to store pictures, videos, and track split bills from the outing.

Simplified Location Selection:
Ensure the best dining out experience by selecting a restaurant from LURU’s curated list of the top 50 restaurants .
Choose your own hangout spot from the map and create a plan with LURU’s Custom Location feature.You can drop the location pin anywhere on the map and that becomes the location that your friends get invited to, perfect for house parties, poker nights, college reunions or any kind of hang.

Invitation:
Select people and create a group of any size from your phone contacts.
Send invitations to this friend group, allowing them to confirm their availability for the outing.
Receive invitations on WhatsApp and SMS if you do not have LURU installed.

Group Chat:
Communicate and coordinate plans with your invitees using LURU’s in-app group chat feature.
Collect and organise picture and video memories from the outing.
Split and collect the bill from your friends without having to get into lengthy calculations.

Cab Hailing:
Reach your destination on time as LURU reverse calculates travel time from your meetup slot and auto-books your cab for that time with your current location as the pickup and your selected destination as the drop, eliminating the hassle of entering details. This is if you wish to book a cab, most of our venues have valet support for people who wish to self-drive.

Bill Splitting:
Split the bill equally and/or equitably by uploading your food bill image to scan and list the items.
Enhance inter-group payment visibility by sharing the split bill as a PDF in the chat group.

My Plans/Invitations & Past Plans:
Stay on top of your upcoming outings using My Plans/Invitations.
Revisit Past Plans and easily recreate those experiences with just a few clicks.
