Lux Guardian

What is it about?

With the anxiety that is caused for parents and teachers, whenever children are being transported to and from events by road, The Guardian App has been created to give parents peace of mind that they know the whereabouts of their children. As the children board the LuxLiner bus, they tap their Smart Locator card on the receiver device located near the entrance in the bus. This sends a notification to the parent who has the App loaded onto their IOS device and registered their children with their unique Smart Locator Cards, advising the parent which child is on a specific bus route. When disembarking, the children tap their Smart Locator card on the receiver device and it notifies the parent the whereabouts of their child with the location and time of disembarking. The return trip will not automatically depart unless all the children that undertook the initial journey have boarded the bus for the return trip. The parent or teacher will need to authorise that the bus may depart should a child have been collected by a parent or utilised another form of transport for the return journey. Should a child have lost their Smart Locator card, the parent or teacher need to authorise While travelling on the return trip, all parents of children (who have registered their children on the App) will be notified when the bus will arrive at the original collection zone with an ETA of 30 minutes.
