Lyora

Lyora is an iPad app designed to support individuals living with Alzheimer’s or memory challenges. With the guidance of a caregiver, users can either start from a personal photo or a meaningful prompt. A series of thoughtful questions stimulates memory and helps capture emotional and personal details.

Responses are processed by an on-device machine learning model to generate a narrative, which is then visualized using Apple Intelligence’s Image Playground. Caregivers can also record themselves narrating the story, creating a deeply personal audio memory.

Users can draw to express emotions or details tied to their memory and revisit a digital gallery of all generated memories at any time. Lyora promotes emotional connection, reminiscence therapy, and creative storytelling—crafted to preserve human stories with dignity and care.
