App Store Description
An iPad app that lets children and adults try their hand at programming simple animations, games and other stuff.
It teaches the basics of a free programming language called LiveCode. Mad Code itself is made with LiveCode, as well as the other madadamgames apps.
There are “objects” on the screen such as images, texts, “buttons.” An object reacts to a tap on the screen according to its “script.”
Mad Code shows how to write a script. It introduces some of the basics of coding: variables, control structures like “repeat” and “if… then,” object properties and so on. It uses as examples animations and games from the other madadagames apps.
After going through the sixty pages (called “cards”) of Mad Code, you should be able to begin creating real apps with the free version of LiveCode.
