Mapix je aplikace pro mobilní telefon, která je digitální alternativou tištěného průvodce po oblasti, areálu nebo místě. Jejím základem je mapa oblasti s vyznačenými zájmovými body a trasami. Ke každému z nich nabízí detailní informace (popis, fotografie, případně audio/video). To vše má uživatel k dispozici offline – není tedy nutné oblast pokrývat sítí.
