About the book:
Marco Polo is recognized as one of the great explorers. This story describes his travels with his father and uncle to China and the Middle East in the 13th century. In China, he learned of modern inventions, such as paper money, coal for heating, indoor bathrooms, and rapid postal service. He worked for the Great Khan in China, and then helped to bring Princess Kokachin to Persia to be married.
