The philosophy of this institution is getting to know the wonders of the soul and its virtues which leads us to experience the Truth (Hagh) directly.
In MAREFAT, you go further into the soul of the matter. In esoteric psychology, you must understand how desires and defects of mind trap and condition the consciousness of a human soul. Therefore, under the light of MAREFAT's teachings, you study different levels of Soul (Nafs).
The journey starts from the Ego (Nafs of Amareh) as the dark side of the soul to the Inner Being (Nafs of Motmaenneh).
We believe that initiations and degrees are gifted by God to the soul. We do not have any physical degrees, however MAREFAT has different levels of teachings.
MAREFAT's students are expected to become proficient in the arts of Praying, Meditation, concentration of the mind and emotional control.
Initiations are gained by merits of heart, and express the evolution and development of consciousness and soul. To achieve these initiations, one must learn to conquer oneself and to purify the soul. This purification is achieved through comprehension and elimination of undesirable elements within the psyche.
Marefat means self-realisation (self-knowledge).
