Marin Transit Connect

Marin Transit Connect is a ride-sharing app operated by Marin Transit. You can use Marin Transit Connect for fast, reliable, low-cost travel in and around Northern San Rafael, including the Terra Linda and Civic Center areas. Marin Transit Connect is convenient and easy to use: Simply select your pick-up and drop-off point and a vehicle will meet you at the hot spot closest to your location within minutes of your request.

How does Connect work?
- Marin Transit Connect is an on-demand transit system service powered by Via that takes multiple passengers heading in the same direction and pools them in a shared vehicle. Using the app, type in your address and your destination and we’ll match you with a vehicle going your way.

- To save time and reduce detours, we’ll pick you up on a nearby corner and drop you off within very brief walking distance of your requested destination. Our smart algorithms provide trip times that are comparable to a taxi, even with multiple pick-ups along the way.

- Book rides on-demand, or pre-schedule them as needed! Create repeated bookings, connect to local and regional transit, and more; Marin Transit Connect is always available when you need it.

When does it operate?
Marin operates regular service throughout the week. You can use us for everything from your morning commute to your night out with your friends! How long will I wait?
- On average, our vans will come in minutes and you'll always get an accurate estimate of your pick-up ETA before booking. You can also track your car in real-time in the app.

How many passengers will I share a car with?
- Our vans can comfortably accommodate multiple people so bring your friend along on the ride!

How much will it cost me?
- Ride by yourself or with a group for a low fare, never with surge. We show you the cost of your ride up front so you’ll never have any surprises.
