Mariza Ketcher Art

Mariza Buhay Ketcher discovered that she could paint during Visual Art classes at St Scholastica's College, Manila where she spent her elementary and high school years. She is a graduate of Bachelor of Science and Commerce major in Business Management at the De La Salle University, Manila. Shortly after graduation, she joined Philippine Airlines as a flight stewardess from 1987 to 1998.

Becoming a wife and a mother to three wonderful boys was a dream come true for her. Mariza's inner desire to paint was rekindled, and in 1998, she picked up her brushes again and started to paint. To date, she has created more than 150 paintings in watercolour, oil, pastel, acrylic and pen and ink. She is a perennial art competition leader in ARTlead, an artist group on facebook where she won an award for being one of the top 12 ARTleaders in 2014. Mariza held her first back to back art exhibit in 2014 and since then has joined several art exhibitions. Some of her paintings have been featured in leading newspapers and magazines. She is an active member of the United Women Artists Association of the Philippines.
