Fresh locally produced food is waiting right near you for a heathy nutritious meal today!

Society is moving back to the market because we can chat to the stall owner, find out the origin of our food and do some socialising while we're there. Not to mention trying new tasty meals from all the fresh ingredients seasonally available to us.

We are realising the value of the Farmers Markets, Farm shops on the side of the road and the local allotment where 'Herbert' grows his own vegetables. There are even times when there is so much and no one will eat it. Why waste good wholesome food. Offer it for someone else to have. Whether it be a charitable donation, or a swap of fruit and vegetables with someone else, lets make our food count.

Arriving at a Farmers Market and seeing all that fresh produce makes my mouth water. It's also giving a little back to your local community too. Visiting stalls and talking about the whereabouts of your food makes it all the better.

You'll be reducing the carbon footprint on food import and export. You'll be getting it fresh, not something that's been stored for a month or nine, and best of all you get to choose what's in season.
