Maruf Milwaukee

The Maruf app is designed to gather volunteers from the community to help individuals, families and communities in need. Our model is designed to instill habitual volunteering within the communities we work by providing the model and channels needed to steer activists into the realm of humanitarianism.

This app will allow users to sign in using their Facebook or their G mail account(s). This will then be used once the user decides what project they may want to contribute to. Once the user picks an event for a project, they will be notified that they joined it. Then their email address will be sent to the Maruf Organization to create an attendee list for that event.

Once logged into the app, one can browse the upcoming events to volunteer for. Also, in the app one can view all the descriptions for the projects in the Maruf Organization. Currently, there are six projects: (Povertunity, Tops, Youth Center, Barakah Gardens, Heart, and Half of Faith) you can contribute to.

Once you have decided what event you would like to join, you can join the event from the app. As a result, the event will be saved in your calendar for you to refer to later.
