Masters of the Moor stems from two exhibitions at RAMM: Dartmoor: A Wild And Wondrous Region in 2017/2018 and Masters of the Moor in 2013. The text is taken from Peter F. Mason’s catalogue for the 2017 exhibition or from Samuel Rowe’s A Perambulation of Dartmoor, 1896, with illustrations by FJ Widgery.
Dartmoor: A Wild and Wondrous Region is one of the main public outcomes of the Heritage Lottery Fund Landscape Partnership-funded Moor than meets the eye.
