App Store Description

We are a group of followers of the Armenian Apostolic Church and our goal is to make this spiritual treasure more accessible, hoping to contribute to the strengthening of our faith.
We do not seek profit with this app and other projects; our only goal is serving God.
The app contains the work "Book of Lamentations" in English, Russian, Classical Armenian(Grabar) and the translations by Vazgen Gevorgyan and Mkrtich Kheranyan. The app is actively under development, so issues may arise during use, and there might be some spelling errors in the prayers.
We kindly ask for your understanding as we fix these issues gradually. We also plan to include foreign language translations and other Armenian translations in the future.
We are open to collaboration and would love to hear your suggestions and recommendations regarding the development of the app and the dissemination of our Armenian spiritual treasures.

About Grigor Narekatsi
Grigor Narekatsi was born in the 40s of the 10th century and passed away after 1003. The son of Bishop Khosrov Anzevatsi and the daughter of Anania Narekatsi's brother, he, along with his two brothers, grew up in the Narek Monastery of the Rštuni Kingdom, "nourished and educated in holiness and wisdom at the feet of the priest Anania," whom Asoghik calls "the great philosopher" and Ukhtanes calls "the cosmic teacher."
From his "Book of Lamentations," it is known that Grigor was ordained as a priest in the monastery, and it is also mentioned that he was called a teacher and doctor, and during his lifetime, he was honored not only as "just" but also as "saint."
Grigor Narekatsi's "Book of Lamentations" is over 1022 years old. For nearly 11 centuries, this immortal and incomparable work has fascinated and captivated readers, healing, educating, and nurturing generations, and it remains timeless.
