Maxillofacial Pathology

Maxillofacial Pathology is an exciting new app designed to enhance the knowledge and learning of head and neck disease for students and clinicians. This app was developed by the Department of Oral Pathology and Oral Biology at the University of Pretoria, South Africa and features clinical, macroscopic and microscopic images of a range of pathological lesions and conditions affecting bone, soft tissue and dental hard tissue of the head and neck region.

Maxillofacial Pathology is easy to use and provides a quick on-the-go referencing system for the identification of patient signs and symptoms in facilitating clinical diagnosis and patient work-up. The visuals and information presented here are an essential adjunct for both undergraduate and postgraduate medical and dental students of head and neck pathology. The integration of the clinicopathological features and treatment principles in this app are a unique and dynamic educational and clinical resource.
