The Mazé-oké App, is a new platform hosting monthly international music video contests awarding the winning contestants and top rater with a cash payout.
The contest consists of 7 categories, each having a leader-board displaying the top 100 video rankings.
The categories are the following:
1. R&B / Blues / Soul / Funk
2. Rock / Pop/Anime / International
3. Reggae / Reggae World Beat
4. Rap / Hip Hop
5. Country / Gospel / Hawaiian
6. Jazz / Classical / Instrumental
7. Dance Routine / Dance & Musician combo
The music based videos entered will be rated by the Artists and the Fans. The top 100 Artists and Raters will appear on their leader-board.
Simply sign up, make an account as a Contestant or a Rater. If you choose to be a contestant, you must enter your correct age when you sign up. Artists ages 12 to 17 ( with a guardian as the account holder) and 18 to 21 get a handicap (their ratings will count three times).
We believe this is fair for the Youth who had less time to work on their skills than the adult contestants. Raters can report any abuse, such as false age or offensive material, if it’s missed during screening. Admin will penalize those who break the rules.
A contestant is automatically a rater. A rater can become a contestant by entering a video and registering his or her age. Musicians, singers, dancers and Rap artists can post 2 to 7 minute music videos. Exploitation, hate, vulgar language and nudity are prohibited. The Mazeoke App is a venue where artists can become known internationally for their talents, and user ratings can decide who is the best in the World at a given time. During the first week of the month following these eight in-app contests, the user accounts that posted the music videos that received the most 5-star ratings in any of the seven categories entered will win. It will cost only USD 1.00 to enter your best 2 to 7 minute performance into the contest via upload. We guarantee a minimum cash payout of USD 100.00 to the winning music video contestants when their category’s competition had less than 200 participants.
The user that rated the most videos in a given month shall also win a cash prize times the number of videos rated. The Mazeoke app will archive the winners.
Join a new community of musically talented artists, video producers, and fans. We’ve included instant messaging so that users may request to be in contact with their favorite artists. We have integrated Google Translate because we invite the World to join The Mazeoke Challenge. The app even allows likes and followings of your favorite Mazeoke contest stars. The play button on the flash screen actually works and plays The Call To Mazeoke.
In the future, we plan to publish the app in multiple languages allowing those countries’ contests to be exclusive.
Whatever your act is, as long as you do it to music and follow the contest guidelines, you can enter your video clip in our contest. We have equipped the app with a countdown clock that will automatically reset for the beginning of the following month’s contest.
Upload your video and then let it be known via your social media so that your friends can be among those giving you 5-star ratings on the app producing a better chance for yours to win. The Countdown Clock indicates the remaining time for last moment entries to be uploaded on the day before the last day of the month; therefore, after midnight Hawaii State Time, no more videos can enter that month’s contest.
Please Note: Currently, the platform is being tested in the live environment for any bugs/issues. There are no actual active contests going on. There will be no winner at the end of the month. We appreciate your participation at this stage in helping us thoroughly test the platform and making it perfect. Contest with monthly prizes will start from Nov’21 on wards. Start the camera, play the music, and do your thing or enjoy rating music videos for a chance to win cash.
