McAfee Personal Safety – The Companion App

McAfee Personal Safety helps keep you safe and in control of your everyday life or when you are in a vulnerable situation. With our everyday safety features, you can create your own safety network and stay connected with them by sharing your current location details. They can keep an eye out for you while you are traveling from place to place. A message will be sent to them when you reach your destination safely. Through our emergency features, you can quickly launch a panic button that sounds a loud alarm and automatically calls your safety network for help. Your message will go through even if your contact’s smartphone is set on a quiet or do-not-disturb mode.

KEY FEATURES

*PRIORITY CALL: Got a flat tire? Lost your family member in a crowd? Trying to reach your spouse or parents, but can’t get through? Priority Call temporarily overrides any pre-set call settings. As long as their phone is on and has a signal, your call will get through.

*SHADOW ME: Family and friends can see your current location, planned route and progress in real-time on a linked map so they can be sure that you are safe.

*PANIC ALARM: Avoid potentially unsafe situations with a panic alarm button that alerts others around you and automatically makes a Priority Call to your trusted contacts. They will get two urgent messages - one with your location details, and one with your Shadow Me message.

*CHECK-IN: You can pre-configure your destination and the app sends a reassuring message to your family and friends automatically when you reach the destination.

*GROUPS (SAFETY NETWORK): Create groups to stay in touch with different friends and family members. Share your location and exchange photos.
