Students often are taught multiplication procedural lessons, but do not have a clear understanding of the meaning of multiplication, or conceptual knowledge. This low cost app teaches the conceptual knowledge of multiplication. (There are many apps to practice the procedural fluency.) It also allows students to see and use multiple strategies for solving multiplication problems. The app includes practice and application of the 3rd grade Common Core. Teacher created BugbrainED apps are comprehensive and allow students to catch up with their peers. The apply section can be used as a pre and posttest. Teachers can easily slide this app into their lesson planning.
