We have broken down the checklist into three categories; Encouraged Foods, Beneficial Foods, and Restricted Foods. The Encouraged Foods list highlights the top nutritious food of the Mediterranean Diet. The next list, the Beneficial Foods list, highlights extremely beneficial food that needs to be carefully measured. This list should be consumed moderately. Finally, the Restricted Foods list highlights the foods that should be consumed in extreme moderation.

We have also detailed important daily/weekly serving sizes of the allowed foods in the diet.
