What is Meemee? How is Meemee different from every other meme app?

Meemee has a simple philosophy - we should all be able to share and consume high-quality memes with precision, speed, and ease. Memes are a modern genre of art and comedy - so why spend hours looking for good ones on Facebook and Instagram groups and why spend hours scrolling on 9GAG and Reddit? Start swiping on Meemee!

It all sounds great, but what does this App actually do?

Meemee allows you to browse memes the same way Tinder allows you to browse potential partners. You can search by hashtags for particular topics and then swipe right or left depending on the meme's quality to quickly find the funniest memes. Then you can save or share the memes with ease.

Why does the app look so plain? Who made Meemee?

Meemee is currently just in its MVP version and built by three friends who love memes as a fun side-project in ~10 days. Memes make us laugh and bring us joy and we realized that we were looking at more and more memes while spending more time at home. However, we also realized that most people waste time going to Facebook and Instagram groups to find the topical memes they care about or scroll through Reddit and 9GAG for hours to find high-quality memes. We decided, just for fun, to build a new app to Tinderfy memes and allow users to quickly and easily find high-quality, relevant memes. Meemee is just an MVP for now but we are curious to know if the idea of tinderfying memes is viable. If the feedback is positive, we will iterate and refine Meemee into a market-ready professional-quality app ASAP.
