Memorize the entirety of the periodic table with memoryAlice’s Elements
Memory Game for Periodic Table
What is it about?
Memorize the entirety of the periodic table with memoryAlice’s Elements. The 118 atomic elements are the building blocks of our universe. Inside this app, you’ll become familiar with each element. After a bit of practice, reciting them in order becomes second nature. We believe exposure to the elements breaks down barriers, making the daunting accessible, rewarding and fun. Imagine sitting in your first chemistry class, and you already know the elements in order. What a difference that could make. Doctors, scientists, engineers need to know so much these days. We hope that we make these pursuits more enjoyable and exciting in our own small but significant way. Memorization techniques like memory chains use pictures as the foundation for building memory. Begin with an introduction to the first character, a hydra. This hydra represents hydrogen, the very first atomic element. This hydra is holding balloons, probably because she is going to a birthday party. They are helium balloons, filled with the second element. Along the way you’ll meet lots of wondrous creatures, objects and devices. Each one of these is symbolic for another element. Follow along with the story we provide, or make your own. You’ll soon remember the pattern. Look away, close your eyes, and see if you can recite the first 5, 10, 20 or more. We promise, once you memorize the first 36, you’ll know that memorizing them all is within reach. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to memorize all the elements, nor will it make you one. But, maybe your ears will perk up at the mention of titanium, or snicker when you hear krypton, or open eyes a bit wider when you see a neon light. Included Features: Graphically rich characters for each of the elements A memory chain to allow recitation of all 118 elements in a row Reinforcing review to practice what you’ve seen A myriad of trivia questions to establish knowledge of the elements An engaging interactive periodic table with use as a reference at any time We're always listening to all feedback we receive! We want to make memoryAlice’s Elements the absolute best it can be. We read everything you send us, so please let us know what you'd like to see!
