App Store Description

What if there were a video game that made you better at knowing things. A work presentation. CPR. The LSATs. A scene from a movie. A new mac’n’cheese recipe. Anything you need to know by heart. If the game was fun - and on your phone - would you study more? Are you a teacher or team leader looking for a fun way to engage your students/team? Come and play with us. Memory Monster is highly personal, highly useful, and tired of your excuses. Everything is simple and easy:

1. MENTAL NOTE
A Mental Note is a memorization document users can edit, study, and play memory games with. Great for personal learning, and also for groups. Desired text is entered (typically by copy and paste), and formatted. Key information is highlighted, then hidden for study purposes.

2. PLAY
Using the highlighted text, a ticking clock multiple choice game is created that tests the user's knowledge. The harder you make the game, the more points you get.

3. PUBLISH
If you're happy with you Mental Note, send it out into the world and let other Memory Monster users compete for top scores.

4. MEMORIZE WITH MEMO
“Memo” is the little monster that lives inside the app. Part Tamagotchi, part Nintendog. He is there to guide you in your journey. He encourages you, cracks jokes, and reminds you to get back to work via notifications and in-game hints. He gives you instruction on how to use the app in the moment (when needed), and tips on memorization backed by science – all with a steady playful undertone of juvenile impatience and sarcastic contempt! Or you can turn him off and study in peace, if you don’t go in for those kinds of shenanigans..
