Men's App is a medical application to take care of men’s health. It has been created by expert urologist / andrologist Dr J.P. Burgues to help you understand several conditions which may worry men, such as impotence, premature ejaculation, sexually transmitted diseases, infertility, low testosterone, benign prostate obstruction, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer.
It does not matter if you are 18 or 80. Men’s App will show contents of interest for all age groups. Obviously, sexually transmitted diseases will more frequently worry younger men, and prostate cancer older men, but topics will always be interesting for everybody. Learning is always good fun!
Traditionally, women have always been aware about periodical checkups by their Gynecologist from early adulthood. But never men! It is true that certain risks for women such as uterine cancer can develop at a young age, and prostate cancer risk starts later for men. Thus annual reviews for men are not encouraged until the early forties. Are men aware of this? Definitively not, men are miles away from women in this respect.
In Men's App our aim is to provide information about common conditions in simple language for everybody. You will also find some useful tools: 1) Ask a doctor; 2) Drinking self-assessment; 3) Test your prostate symptoms; 4) Track your PSA; 5) BMI calculator; 6) See your last body measurements and vitals in your Health app or register new data (iOS HealthKit integration); 7) Get help to stop smoking; 8) Sexual health self-assessment. Remember that you can use Men's App as a tool to understand, learn, prevent, or get advice, but it should never be a substitute for a visit to your doctor.
Men’s App activity consists of daily tips on social networks (Facebook, Twitter and G+) and a new topic every one or two weeks in the blog www.mens-app.net and the App. These are some of the men’s health topics we are dealing with in Men’s App:
- Benign prostatic obstruction

- Impotence
- Infertility
- Premature ejaculation
- Prostate cancer
- Sexually transmitted diseases
