Metalor Check

By scanning the matrix 2D code embedded in the BullionProtect® and the serial number of a given bar, not only the authenticity of the bar can be checked, but also more information on the bar are available.

The BullionProtect® security feature is one of the several layers of security used by Metalor to prevent counterfeiting.

It has been developed with the Swiss company SICPA, a trusted global provider of security inks as well as secured identification, traceability and authentication solutions. This solution is highly secured and can be simply and immediately verified by different tools including Metalor Check application.

Metalor Check application also can be used for verifying Metalor products bearing only a Datamatrix code, including small investment minted bars.

Metalor products are made of precious metals (gold, silver, platinum and palladium) which are exclusively sourced with the highest international standards.

Integrated in the Metalor Ecosystem, Metalor Check application provides also detailed information on each bar – including production date and location, purity and specifications. Furthermore, for bars made by segregated refining, information on the origin of the gold are also displayed – this includes bars from single mines or from specific areas, as well as bars issued from recycling.
