MetaPractice Student is the app that private students should use in order to practice the goals their teachers assign with MetaPractice Teacher. It is designed by a piano instructor especially for music instructors, but it is usable by many kinds of students, from tennis to dance.
With MetaPractice Student:
- You will learn to practice goals your teacher assigns more efficiently, depending on how your teacher assigns those goals (and thanks to all of the help inside of the app, including videos on practicing)
- Be reminded to maintain past repertoire
- Chat with your teacher and ask questions about your practicing
- View media that your teacher attaches to goals
MetaPractice Teacher/Student is the result of years of research into metacognition, focusing on helping all students to develop what is perhaps the most important skill of them all: metacognitive skill (the ability to think about one's own thinking while practicing: strategize, monitor and evaluate your own practicing efforts).
