App Store Description

This app was developed to quickly create events with some astronomical information, which can be then viewed offline in the Calendar app. Each event contains following information:
-in the title you will find:
∙current season symbol,
∙current moon phase symbol,
∙time of the sunrise and sunset,
∙current day in the year/remaining days till the end of the year,
∙current week number,
∙current zodiac symbol.
-in the event body you will find the moon phase symbol plus moonrise and moonset and for special events:
∙time of the daylight/standard time change
∙time of the astronomical season change

All events are calculated based on your current geographical position and the timezone on your device.
To create events: define the start date, period for which the events will be generated, choose the calendar type, either iCloud or local (in this case the events will be visible only on this device) finally click Create button. After a while new calendar with events will be ready. Go to Calendar app, click Calendars button and activate "microCal" calendar (you can also change the calendar color).
If you choose iCloud as the calendar location then once you refresh your calendar on your iDevices you will see the new event (it is enough to install microCal on one iDevice, synchronization will do the rest but please be patient - replication of events for one year or more can take a while!).
The alarm switch at the bottom is used to create a reminder on the last day of the calendar that you may need to create new events.

Enjoy!
