Mime! Sing! Dance! - Improv Game for All Ages

Great for family, school, and groups. Laugh along as you create a short, silly scene in three different ways: mime, song, and dance.

It's an adventure in improv. In improv, you make up a silly scene. The main goal is laughter! No acting, singing or dancing experience is needed!

This is a fun-filled game in which two players improvise a humorous scene when given a simple plot idea. The two players will act out the scene in three different ways. We'll supply the silly music. First, the players mime the scene without using words. Players will use big, bold gestures and facial expressions. Then, players will improvise a short, silly song to convey the plot idea. Finally, players will convey the plot idea with rhythmic dance movements.

All of the scenes are only 30 seconds! The music is especially silly. The scenes are simple and fun. Anyone can sing for 30 seconds! Share the scene with your partner and that means it's only 15 seconds!

Stop playing passive games and get in the groove with lots of interaction and communication. It's a great game to share with kids.

FUN WITH IMPROV:
Improv can spark the imagination. It's storytelling based on a simple plot that the game provides. Players can take a moment to immerse in the imaginary setting. Then, they work together to create the same scene in three different ways: a short mime, song, and dance. They work together by listening, watching, and responding to each other.

THE GAME IS FLEXIBLE:
This is a short-form improv game. Most Hollywood Groove games are designed to be played in pairs. Yet, the games can be modified to suit larger groups, or even single players. Larger groups work together on the same game premise. Single players develop a monologue scene. To ease into improv, some players may like a little planning time.
