How Mimik Call Recording App works

If you're in a country that supports automatic call recording (US & Canada), you'll just need to enter a phone number or choose a contact through our dialer. Once you've selected someone you want to record a phone call with,
we will place a call to this user's phone number and automatically start recording your phone call.

If you're in a country that does not support automatic call recording, you'll need to record calls by using our 3-way calling system. In order to do this, your carrier will need to support the ability to create conference calls:
- SimpleTalk and H20 Wireless do not currently offer this in the US.
- EE in the UK does not support 3-way calling on new plans

* How does this app record calls?

For automatic call recording:
Enter the user's phone number or select a contact you'd like to record and press the call button from our Mimik App to begin call recording. That's it!

For manual call recording:
Open Mimik and press the record button. We will put your call on hold and dial our recording line. As soon as our line answers tap the merge button on your screen to create a 3-way call between your other caller and our recording line.

* How many recordings can I make?

We offer unlimited call recording duration and the number of phone calls you can make within a given month. Don't worry, you can record thousands of phone calls per month and we won't mind!

* How long does it before I can listen to my recording?

Our recordings are typically processed within a few seconds but sometimes can take a few minutes before they are ready to listen for longer recordings. If you want to know as soon as your phone call recording is ready to be listened to, make sure to subscribe to our push-notifications to receive real-time updates about your recordings.

If you choose to upgrade to Mimik's subscription with unlimited usage of our call recording service on a monthly or yearly basis, you will be charged a price according to your country. The price will be shown in the app before you complete the payment. Your Mimik unlimited recording subscription automatically renews every month or year and your iTunes account will be automatically be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription. You can turn off auto-renew at any time from your iTunes Account Settings.
