BEACON starts with a rigorous online assessment leading to a recommended care plan customized to help improve your mental health and resilience. Your BEACON care plan includes your dedicated eTherapist who, via messaging, connects with you to review homework, answer questions, and provide ongoing support and guidance as you work through your sessions. As a part of the BEACON commitment to wellness, each session includes short assessments measuring your progress. You can access progress reports throughout BEACON from your iPhone.

BEACON care plans are based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). CBT is a psychotherapy approach that helps change negative and anxious thoughts, as well as behaviours, so you can feel and function better. Numerous clinical trials over many years prove the effectiveness of CBT for treating the most common mental health concerns, including low mood and anxiety.
