Mixed - Encode Messages For Fun

Scramble your messages so people can’t read them over your shoulder.

Mixed helps you send an encoded message to your friend. Once they get the message, they can read the original unencoded message. Think of it as spies sending top secret messages back and forth. How cool is that!?!?

Each mixer does something a little different. All examples below will translate the following sentence:

“The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.”


GIBBERISH
“dig” is added to the beginning sound of each syllable.
“Thidige qidiguick bridigown fidigox jidigumps odigver thidige lidigazy didigog”

PIG LATIN
The beginning sound is moved to the end of the word and “ay” is added.
“Ethay uickqay ownbray oxfay umpsjay overway ethay azylay ogday.”

SHIFT LETTERS
Each letter is shifted one numeric value to the right. An “A” becomes a “B”, a “C” becomes a “D”.
“Uif rvjdl cspxo gpy kvnqt pwfs uif mbAz eph.”

PIRATE
Switches common English words to more appropriate pirate versions.
“Tha quick brown fox jumps o'er tha lazy dog.”

IZZLE
Inspired by Snoop Dogg
“Thizzle qizzle brizzle fizzle jizzle ovizzle thizzle lizzle dizzle.”

REVERSE
The letters in each word are placed in reverse order.
“Eht kciuq nworb xof spmuj revo eht yzal god.”

DOUBLE DUTCH
Consonant letters are expanded to larger sounds.
“TutHashe quackuicashkuck bubrugowacknun fufoex jayumumpubsus ovuverug tuthashe lulazubyub dudogug.”

MORSE CODE
Letters are converted to a series of dots and dashes.
