Welcome to the Program for the 2018 MLA Annual Convention in New York City! Featuring more than eight hundred sessions on language, literature, and culture and drawing nearly seven thousand attendees, the MLA convention is the largest scholarly meeting in the humanities.

This year, more than three hundred sessions are devoted to the presidential theme, #States of Insecurity, and we’re offering more professional development workshops and sessions than ever before.
