Start by taking the MMARA quiz to get your hair profile. Your MMARA hair profile provides you with an understanding of key hair attributes, a custom routine, and personalized ingredient recommendations to start building a foundational understanding of your hair and what it needs. It will be accessible at any time through your MMARA profile.

Utilize the progress tracker to begin monitoring your daily habits. Some are obvious, such as breakage and fullness, and some more subtle factors such as your average water-intake, potential supplements you are taking and your diet. As you begin tracking, our engine performs analytics and looks out for trends in order to provide helpful insights to help you stay on track. The more information you provide, the more robust your insights.

Receive behavioral support in the form of automated and scheduled reminders to help you remember certain aspects of your routine and check out the resource library to learn tips and tricks to help you along the way. Consistency is one of the biggest challenges many of us have to overcome in order to see the results we want, so let us help you!

Get the hair care products that work for you by using our in-app product scanner while shopping in-store, or simply type in the barcode while shopping online and receive a match rating to help you identify which products work for your hair and which hair products you should avoid based on your unique needs.

About Us:

MMARA was founded by three sisters. Though the details of our journeys differed, we shared many of the same challenges and frustrations. Our main challenges arose from feeling completely overwhelmed when choosing the right hair products and dealing with the abundance of misinformation in the industry. We refused to accept the general notion that textured hair is “impossible” or even “harder” to manage.

We decided to crack the code on textured hair care to give women more information and guidance on how best to care for their hair using science. At MMARA, we want to empower women to achieve the most confident version of themselves by making hair care simple. No magic product, no gimmicks.
