Mojo: Rewards for Safe Driving

Mojo is the app that helps you kick distracted driving and have fun doing it. Invite your friends, compete to be the safest driver, and earn spins for a chance to win gift cards. The safer you drive, the more points you earn, the higher your likelihood to win cash and prizes.

Mojo provides feedback and incentives to help users reduce distracted driving. The app provides an overall “Mojo Score” (0-100, higher is better) which characterizes how distracted you are while driving.

The app automatically runs in the background on a driver’s phone (requires no user input) and breaks down your distraction (ie. phone usage while driving) at a level of detail you can easily understand and apply. Driving tips include ways to reduce texting and app use (typing & swiping), and phone calls (handheld or hands-free calls). The app also uses competitions, rewards, and nudges to help you reduce your distracted driving beyond day one, and ultimately see who's the best driver. Not that you’d ever hold that over anyone’s head ;)
