Welcome to Moni, a new way to manage your finances.
Moni was created to help you manage your spend. I believe the best way to save money is by first understanding where it's spent. After more than a year managing my finances via spreadsheets, I decided to rethink the problem from the ground up. I had to build a better product.
Moni has three fundamentals:
AUTOMATED AND REGULATED BY THE CENTRAL BANK
The first pillar is to automate the data ingestion process. Our users' time is precious, and I don't want them to waste it on manual tasks. Therefore, I built the app to be 100% integrated with Open Finance, a new technology from the Central Bank of Brazil that allows direct connection with the country's major banks.
The connections are regulated by the Central Bank and use the most advanced security standards in the market. With Moni, you can securely and automatically connect with over 20 banks.
Moni requires an active subscription to connect to your bank accounts.
BUDGETS AND EXPENSE CONTROL
The second pillar of the product is "Budgets." Budgets act as a guide for how much you can spend per month in each category. One of the unique features of Moni is the intelligence of the product. We help you understand your average spending by category, and from there, define compatible budgets.
Moni requires an active subscription to track and manage your spend.
YOURS AND YOURS ALONE
"If the service is free, you are the product."
Finally, the third pillar of Moni is data privacy. Moni does not sell or share your data with third parties. I aim to offer a quality service, with privacy and aligned with your interests. The product is "bootstrapped," that is, created from scratch by me without venture capital funds. Making my customers happy is my only and utmost goal. For this reason, the product operates on a paid model, requiring an active subscription to access all its features. This ensures I can continue working and developing Moni over the years.
Remember the old saying: "There's no such thing as a free lunch."
