Monoporto offers a platform to convey traditional courier and postal services. A shipper posts on the platform Monoporto his package / good to be shipped, indicating the size, weight, pickup location and destination. MonoPorto's goal is to leverage existing unused capacity of drivers both privately and commercially to minimize driver travel costs, make short-term shipping of goods easier and cheaper, and also protect the environment.

Ein Versender postet auf der Plattform Monoporto sein zu versendendes Paket/ Gut unter Angabe der Größe, Gewicht, Abholort und Zielort. Frei zugänglich für Fahrer können auf der Plattform die aktuellen Lieferaufträge aufgerufen werden und mit bestehenden Fahrtrouten abgelichen werden. Sollte der Abholort bzw. Zielort im Bereich der Fahrtroute des Interessenten liegen, kann dieser Kontakt mit dem Versender aufnehmen und den Auftrag auf der Plattform annehmen.
Ziel von MonoPorto ist es, ähnlich wie bei Mitfahrgelegenheiten vorhandene ungenutzte Kapazitäten von Fahrern sowohl privat als auch kommerziel zu nutzen um die Fahrtkosten der Fahrer zu minimieren, das kurzfristige versenden von Gütern einfacher und günstiger zu machen und nebenbei auch die Umwelt zu schonen.
Monoporto gibt als Plattform Sicherheit für den Versender und Fahrer und stellt sicher, dass das Paket unbeschadet seinen Zielort erreicht und der Fahrer für sein Zustellung entlohnt wird.
