The app allows to discover all the relevant items of a monument. Each route of each monument is formed by several points of interest, marked on a map or an aerial image that you can see on the screen, and the audioexplanation on each point is automatically activated when you get to that point. It gives explanations on numerous items that are not always explained in guidebooks or on guided tours.

At the same time, the text of the explanation can be read on the screen. The app also includes photographs in order to facilitate the perception of artistic items.
MonuWay can be downloaded before the visit to the monuments (at the hotel, at home, etc.) and the users can have the audio guided routes stored in their device, so it is not necessary to connect to the internet when doing the sightseeing.

In addition, with each monument it is offered a gastronomic bargain in a nearby restaurant. These discounts are for MonuWay users.
