The classic logic puzzle in the Killer Sudoku genre combines time-tested Sudoku rules with additional arithmetic conditions, creating an exciting and mentally stimulating gameplay experience. The player's task is to fill in the game board so that no numbers are repeated in each row, column, and highlighted area, and the sum of the numbers in the special combined cells matches the value specified in them. This format develops mathematical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to think several steps ahead.
The main screen allows you to quickly select the difficulty level, start a new game, continue an unfinished game, or go to the statistics and settings sections. The easy level uses 3×2 blocks with numbers from 1 to 6 and sums up to 21, while the medium and hard modes use 3×3 blocks with numbers from 1 to 9 and sums up to 45. In easy and medium modes, there are several pre-filled cells on the field, while in hard mode, the entire grid is empty, only information about the sums is available, and there is no check button, which requires maximum concentration and attention.
The playing field consists of cells, some of which are combined into so-called “sum cells.” Each such group displays a number in the corner indicating the sum that all the digits inside must add up to. At the same time, repetitions in rows, columns, and blocks are not allowed. The controls are intuitively simple: just touch a cell, select the desired number, and cancel or clear the move if necessary. There is a separate button for checking the intermediate result (except in complex mode), and the end of the round records the result, counts the number of correct and incorrect cells, and enters the data in the statistics section.
In the statistics, the player can track the number of games started and won, games without errors, the best and last completion times, as well as the current and maximum winning streaks. Sorting by difficulty level allows you to evaluate your progress separately in each mode, and the reset function allows you to start over. The interface supports convenient navigation: swipes for scrolling, taps for quick access to the information you need, and clear transitions between sections.
